    Domaine Tournon by M.Chapoutier

In 1997, Michel Chapoutier set off to explore the terroirs of Australia and settled in the state of Victoria. Renowned for its distinct soils and astonishing diversity of microclimates. With vineyards in the Pyrenees and Heathcote, our goal is to create world class wines that speak of the individual terroirs in which they are grown.

In Australia, the Tournon range is distributed primarly through on-premise independant retail channels. We work with our distribution partners in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia and are developing our own distribution channel in New South Wales and Queensland.

    THE RANGE

MATHILDA: Viognier Marsanne, Rose and Shiraz / VICTORIA

Utilising Rhone varietals (Marsanne, Viognier, Grenache and Shiraz) and sourced from Victorian vineyards, these wines are selected for their individual characteristics and represent great value for money.

    SHAY’S FLAT VINEYARD / PYRENEES

In the cool region of the Pyrenees in Western Victoria, our Shay’s Flat Vineyard nestles in the ranges with a North Eastern aspect on mixed red soils of schists, silt, quartz and clay. Producing high quality red especially Shiraz.

    LANDSBOROUGH VINEYARD / PYRENEES

On a steep, contoured slope with high draining and low yielding quartz soil, the Landsborough Vineyard faces east and produces excellent whites, especially Chardonnay

    LADY’S LANE VINEYARD / HEATHCOTE

On the famed Cambrian red soil of Heathcote is our Lady’s Lane Vineayard. Dry grown Shiraz vines are naturally low yielding and produce a wine that is full flavoured, elegant and robust.

*all our vineyards are farmed orgnanically
