M.Chapoutier Cellar Door – Heathcote

M.Chapoutier boasts some of the most iconic vineyards in the Rhone Valley and in Roussillon France. Known for its production of esteemed, imported French wines, such as Hermitage, Cote Rotie and Chateauneuf du Pape, M.Chapoutier also produces some great Australian wines.

The carefully selected vineyards in the Pyrenees and Heathcote wine regions were founded by Michel Chapoutier, who decided to explore the greatest terroirs of Australia in 1998. His vision for winemaking encompasses a deep commitment to extraordinary terroirs and biodynamic viticulture. With the two main ranges being Tournon and Terlato & Chapoutier, M.Chapoutier currently produces sangiovese, grenache, chardonnay, viognier, shiraz and Riesling varieties in our Victorian vineyards.

Our picturesque cellar door is conveniently located in the main street of Heathcote. We are open 7 days a week for tastings of our multi-award winning French and Australian wines with one of our experienced sommeliers, winery tours with our wine maker (when available and by appointment) and to purchase wines at Cellar Door only prices.
